Vintage and pre-owned clothing has a history. This guide helps you use the information in each EuroSeasons listing to choose with confidence.
What “pre-owned” means
Unless a listing explicitly says “new with tags” or “BNWT,” the item is vintage or second-hand. It may show signs of previous wear, age or storage. “Gently used,” “excellent” and similar descriptions apply only to the individual item and do not mean new.
How to read a listing
- Start with the condition notes. Read the full description for identified pilling, marks, repairs or other signs of wear.
- Review every available photograph. Photographs show the specific item, its colour and visible details. Screens can display colours differently.
- Check the fabric and design details. Use the listing to understand the material, brand, style and intended fit.
- Compare the measurements. The label size alone is not a reliable guide across different brands and decades.
Common signs of vintage wear
Depending on the item, pre-owned clothing may have pilling, small marks, gentle fading, repairs or other age-related character. When these details are identified, they are described or photographed in the listing. Review the full listing and contact us before ordering if anything is unclear.
Measurements matter more than the label
A size 40 from one brand or decade may fit differently from a size 40 in another. Lay a similar garment you own flat, measure it and compare those numbers with the listing. Our Size Guide explains chest, length, shoulder, sleeve and waist measurements step by step.
One-of-a-kind availability
Most listings represent one physical item in one size. Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it, and the same piece may not return after it sells.
Independent reseller disclosure
EuroSeasons is an independent reseller of pre-owned and vintage fashion. Brand names identify the original items and do not imply affiliation, authorization or endorsement.
